Use it as a test bed for Volvo's 5 cylinder engine and M55 gearbox. Volvo needed a way to test its first 5 cylinder drivetrain, and didn't have the project's chassis ready yet. That is pretty wild. More info for my "Database Of Useless Knowlege".
GM really had an interesting Citation to be fair. It was developed in part by John Heinricy and it was a great showroom stock racer in it's brief life.

what i drove when i turned 15.5.
she was a metal flake grey steering column shifted 1982 model.
no matter what poor engineering/performance can be said about it.
real cowl induction and a pretty little 6 cylnder growl.
loved that car, still do.
many teen fingerbang tales and roudy nights out stories to tell.
she died because i pulled one too many neutral drops. dad bought a manual 87 Daytona turbo Z in black to replace it..
it was like Lukes trip to dagobah to complete my hoon training.
but thats yet another story.

I went to the Turbo Mopar side too at one point. The 80s were a bit dark but the high points were there.

yep.
its about context, you cant understand at a citation x-11, or any of the turbo mopars without knowing what the car world for mortal working class families was like then.

Pontiac 6000 STE AWD driveline with either a supercharged V6 or a V8. I'd start with a notchback, though.
